1. Who We Are

Litespace Inc. (“Litespace”, “us”, “we”) is a cloud-based workspace management platform for web and mobile. We are incorporated in Ontario, Canada.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) applies to all users of https://www.litespace.io/ (the “Site”), users of our software platform and related services (the “Services”), and any available related mobile applications (the "App"), and recipients of our emails. It lays forth the personal data that we collect, how we use such data and how we protect this data. By using our website, services, or mobile applications, you are in agreement with our collection and use of your personal data described in this Privacy Policy.

This Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, including the privacy practices of our customers (“Customers”), on whose behalf we may store data. Our customers are solely responsible for ensuring that they have obtained the necessary authorizations and consents for any Personal Information made available to Litespace.

3. Litespace's Commitments

We will not share your data unless you’ve given us permission, we’ve told you in advance, we’ve aggregated it, and removed any information that would identify you, or if legal rights are affected. We will not spam you.

4. Information We Collect

By using our services:

  • You agree that if you disclose your personal information to us, we may create a database record of you
  • If you register on our website and/or application, download any materials or conduct any other transaction, you agree for us to collect the information necessary to provide you with the service you have signed up for. You agree that this information may be disclosed to our partners (who may be third parties) for the purpose of providing you with this service;
  • You agree for us to use cookies in your browser unless you removed them.
  • You agree that we may contact you with information for services you may be interested in unless you have indicated you do not wish to receive such communications
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics (or other such third-party analysis tools) to provide us with information regarding the use of Litespace, and the effectiveness of our advertisements. Our service providers may collect certain information about your visits and activity to Litespace as well as other websites or services, which include the web page visited before you came to our website, the type of browser you are using, the length of visit and number of page views, and the page-by-page paths you take as you browse through our services.
  • Your continued use of the Litespace platform indicates that you are in agreement with this policy and any future changes in Litespace Private Policy.

Note that we are not responsible for the security of any data you are transmitting over the internet, or any data you are storing, posting, or providing directly to a third party’s website, which is governed by that party’s privacy policy.

5. Cookies

Litespace and our third-party partners may collect certain types of usage information when you visit our Site or otherwise engage with us through cookies—for example, through analytics providers and content partners. As we have no control over third-party cookies, they are not covered by our cookie policy.

If you would prefer not to accept cookies, most browsers will allow you to: (i) change your browser settings to notify you when you receive a cookie, which lets you choose whether or not to accept it; (ii) disable existing cookies; or (iii) set your browser to automatically reject cookies. Please note that doing so may negatively impact your experience using the Site, as some features and services on our Site may not work properly. By consenting to this policy, you consent to the use of cookies on our Site.

6. Other Computer Information

We collect basic session information such as IP (Internet Protocol) addresses, and browser types. Such information is used to enhance your experience with Litespace as well as help us troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise when using our platform.

7. Updating, Exporting, or Deleting Your Data

You can edit your data anytime you like by logging into your account online on our website. If there are fields that you cannot edit, other than any secrets such as passwords, just contact us and request the update.

You can export your data anytime by requesting your company’s administrator send a request to support@litespace.io requesting your data export.

You can delete your data anytime by requesting your company’s administrator send a request to delete your data on your behalf through support@litespace.io. Note that we may retain your personal information in our databases in accordance with applicable data retention policies and laws. We may retain certain information to respond to any issues that may arise later, for example, we may need certain information to prevent fraudulent activity, protect ourselves against liability, permit us to pursue available remedies or limit any damages we may sustain or if we believe in good faith that a law or regulation requires it. Your data will be stored in a secured location controlled by us. In all cases, we retain the right to use data obtained to verify your identity or take other actions that we believe are appropriate.

8. Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties

We use third-party technology providers to provide certain aspects of the Services. These third parties provide us with advertising, referral, operations, and technology services (for example, hosting). We require each third-party provider to enter into a written agreement with us by which they agree to protect the confidentiality and security of your data, and use your data only on our behalf and only in the way which we permit in the written agreement.

Our use or transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Any user data received from Google APIs, such as Calendar data, will not be shared with third-party tools, including AI models.

9. Public Parts of Our Website

There are public parts of our websites. These parts are open to the public and if you disclose your personal data in any public forum on our website, that data becomes public knowledge and can be accessed by people other than us. We are not responsible for their use of your personal data.

10. Minors

We cannot distinguish the age of individuals that access our site as a such blanket privacy policy is applied. We do not intend or seek to receive any personal information from minors. Should a parent or guardian have reason to believe that a minor has provided Litespace with personal information without their prior consent, please contact us to ensure that the information is removed.

11. Sharing Your Data When Legal Rights Are Affected

We may be required to share your information when our legal rights are affected. Some examples are: We will share your information if it is required by law or to respond to requests from law enforcement officials, and regulatory agencies in connection with certain court proceedings. We may share your data where this is in the interest of protecting or exercising our or others’ legal rights, for example, in connection with court proceedings, or to detect or prevent criminal activity, fraud, or material representation, or to establish our rights to defend against legal claims.

12. Business Transfers

If we or our assets are acquired, or in the unlikely event that we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, we would include data among the assets transferred to any parties who acquire us. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur and that any parties who acquire us may continue to use your personal information according to this policy.

13. California Privacy Rights

This section provides additional details about the Personal Information we collect about California consumers and the rights afforded to them under the California Consumer Privacy Act (the CCPA), to the extent the CCPA is applicable to Litespace.

We collect Personal Information for the commercial purposes described above. Litespace does not sell (as that term is defined in the CCPA) the Personal Information we collect.

Subject to certain limitations, the CCPA provides California consumers the right to request to know more details about the categories or specific pieces of Personal Information we collect (including how we use and disclose this Personal Information), to delete their Personal Information, to opt-out of any “sales” of Personal Information that may be occurring, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

California consumers may make a request pursuant to their rights under the CCPA by contacting us at the contact information below. We will verify your request using the information associated with your Account, if available, including your email address. Government identification may be required. Consumers can also designate an authorized agent to exercise these rights on their behalf.

Purpose

Intercom uses cookies to recognise particular people who have interacted with Intercom through Bearer previously. This may be visitors to our website, Bearer users or counterparties.

You may refuse the transmission of your Information by opting out (contact them directly for more information), however, please note that you will delete the opt-out cookie when you delete your cookies in your browser settings.

Litespace has implemented technology and security features to safeguard the privacy of your personal information using the industry’s best practices.

Litespace will endeavor all reasonable steps to keep your information safe and secured. Your information is held in secured servers. Unfortunately, despite all the aforementioned technology and security features, no data transmitted over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot give an absolute assurance that the information you provide us is secured at all times, and we cannot be responsible for unauthorized access to your personal information. 15. Changes to Litespace’s Privacy Policy

Litespace may amend this policy from time to time. If we make any substantial changes in any way we use your personal information, you will be notified by posting a prominent announcement on our web page, through email, or when you log onto our application.
