Here's how you can prepare for the Awards Night:
- Virtual Setup: Set up your computer or device in a quiet area where you can fully immerse yourself in the festivities without distractions.
- Encourage Food & Snacks: Even though it is a virtual ceremony, advise everyone to bring their own food and snacks to get the best enjoyment out of the show!
- Craft/Buy Awards: Make or buy Awards/Trophies for the winners to show appreciation for their work
Be sure to prepare these resources at least a week before the event!
Checklist
A Week Before the Event:
- Send out a Google Form to allow people to vote for each category
- Take note of the nominees and the winning candidates based on the form
- Set up a slideshow showcasing the nominees and the winner
- Let the nominees know beforehand that they are contenders for the award
Right Before the Event:
- Open up the link to the presentation
- Open the Zoom link and invite participants to join the event

What awards should we give?
- Plan out awards based on fun themes. If they are work related awards, make sure the awards are relevant to the field that the employee works under. Should I give out participation awards?
- To make sure everyone is included, a fun idea could be to have customized awards for everyone. If there are too many people, you could allot group awards instead.
